Title: Effect of Macroeconomic variables on foreign exchange reserve, inflation and Economic Growth (January 2010 to December 2018)

  • Develop different econometric models to investigate how different macroeconomic variables affect economic growth

  •  Entered and verified yearly time series data and constructed several econometric and mathematical exponential models in different phases of these analyses

  • Build econometric models, using our world-class data systems, and apply economic theory to solve business problems in a fast-moving environment

  • Developed STATA code using ARDL model, reduced-form model, Logistic regression model, GLM model building, t-test, F test, Chi-Square test

Title: Title: Present Scenarios of Natural Resource, economic growth through renewable and nonrenewable resources, and conservation of natural resource in Bangladesh (January 2014 to December 2015)

  • Collected secondary data and examined existing reports and study on natural resources in Bangladesh

  • Used different statistical tools excel, graphs, excel database, merge, 1-m merge,

  • Clearing data, produce graphs

  • Address quantitative economic problems, and contribute to the design of research problems

  • Provide economic solutions based on the research problems

Title: “Great Basin Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (GBCESU): Research to Enhance Restoration of Greater Sage-Grouse Habitat through Improved Production and Establishment of Critical Native Plant Species.” (January 2019 to Present)

Client: United States Fish and Wildlife Services
Research Assistant

  • Assisted survey and secondary sources data (BLM, URDI, and NDOW) and report writing for the Nevada Native Seed Project

  • Cleaning data, produce graphs, used different statistical tools and excel, database management through excel

  • Data cleaning, data analysis, and report/manuscript preparation.

  • Development of the native plant material (NPM) industry in Nevada with the goal of increasing the supply and lowering the cost of NPMs for use in wildland restoration projects

  • Analyzing the current capacity to produce NPM in Nevada, identifying the challenges to producing NPM under cultivation, and a detailed analysis of NPM use by the Bureau of Land Management and other Federal, State, and private-sector entities in Nevada

  • Create a pivot table, create dummy variables, merge many to one, find duplicates entry

  • Assign standardized names and common names in each species

  • Summary statistics, species retrieved form URDI data, create variables with species/year unique identifier to allow for a M:1 merge with the UDRI price data

  • Classifications of the data by species, functional group, year, contact office, project type

Title: The value of Hunting and Impacts of Habitat Change in Nevada: You’re your Opinion Count (January 2019 to Present)

Client: Nevada Department of Wildlife, United States
Graduate Research Assistant
  • Assisted survey questionnaire design and report writing and non-market valuation for the Nevada Department of Wildlife

  • Address qualitative and quantitative economic problems and design the appropriate models for the problems

  •  Calculate the wiliness to pay by different user groups and examine the relationship between hunter characteristics and willingness to pay.

  • To estimate the main drivers of hunting and estimate the expected changes in wildlife populations and hunt tag members as a result of ecosystem change.

  •  Explore the dynamics of big game hunting in Nevada using cost-benefit analysis
